Replacing a Bin Body?

04110 Body LHS Gravity Ref 04100 MBS

Trade Fixtures, the industry leader in Bulk Merchandising solutions, has built a reputation on quality, service and offering the best bins on the market.  To that end, we recently invested in new injection molds/tools in order to maintain our high quality of standards and are happy to report that these new molds meet or exceed our expectations.  It’s hard to believe 20 years have passed since the original tools were made, and the parts from the newer tools/molds are slightly different and exhibit subtle differences which make backwards compatibility impossible.  Therefore, these new parts are not to be used with, nor are they compatible with, the side panels (left or right side) from the older Gravity Bin.

The NEW Side Panels can be easily identified by the letter “R” in the following locations:

-the outer surface of each side panel near the top in a rectangular box.

IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ASSEMBLE THE NEW STYLE WITH OLD STYLE BIN BODIES BECAUSE MIXING THE OLDER AND NEWER SIDE PANELS COULD CAUSE THE BINS TO SEPARATE THUS SPILLING ITS CONTENTS.  WE ALSO WILL SELL THE SIDE PANELS OF THE BODY IN PAIRS (SO YOU GET THE LEFT AND RIGHT SIDE).  PRIOR TO THIS CHANGE, YOU COULD BUY THE LEFT OR RIGHT SIDE SEPARATELY.   THIS SHOULD HELP ALLEVIATE THE GUESSWORK IF YOU ARE HAVING TO REPLACE A BIN BODY.

PLEASE NOTE: All other parts (such as front face, drain door, bin door, bushings, return bands, lid, lip seal, flow control stop, spline clip, base stand, gravity plus and/or portion control components) are approved to be used with the NEW Side Panels identified and designated by the “R” on the side.  Should you have any question, or need any assistance, please contact us at 501-664-4718 and ask for your sales rep by state, and one of our helpful associates would be glad to assist.

Thank you for your business, and partnership in offering bulk foods using Trade Fixtures Retail Merchandising.  As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.

Sincerely,

Scott Johnson, President/GM
